In my quest for knowledge about the world of SEO I have stumbled across a number of great websites that have helped me along my way. The internet is full of people who claim to be SEO experts; it’s widely acknowledged that the people who make the most money on the internet are the people who tell other people how to make money, whether it is through ebooks, videos or whatever else. We have all seen the advertisements that promise “a Ferrari within 2 weeks” if you sign up to this amazing programme that only costs $69.99 per month, I know most people don’t fall for these tricks be amazingly enough some people do. So, heres what I have learned so far, there is no easy money on the internet, not that I have found anyways. Everything you earn will come through blood, sweat and tears, just like the rest of the world. The best advice I can give you is to throw yourself into subjects like web design and SEO and let your curiosity take over. Seek out high quality sources of information like what we have here at hubpages and learn from it. That way you will learn some real skills that are applicable in the real world and most importantly to your online money making endeavours. I think filling out questionnaires or click links is challenging or rewarding. This website offers many great tools and sources of information but the most important the highlight of the site for me is the fact that it offers information about the importance of all these factors. The page that I have linked directly to above will show you the importance of each aspect of search engine optimization. It is composed of the opinion of 72 of the world experts in SEO. There is some technical jargon but for the most part they have laid it out fairly well.

This website is probably for those of you who want more advanced information about SEO. However it does offer some information that is interesting and of course useful.It shows information like the top 10 search engines used in the USA as well as the top 10 search terms in the USA. The website has a lot of information about search engines and search terms and its well worth checking out.

Lynda SEO course

If you want an basic beginners guide to SEO this website has a set of videos that will give you a good back ground and introduction to the world of SEO. There is more than 6 hours of information that covers everything from keyword selection to backlinking and optimizing your website. I did this course and found it very useful. It costs about $25 a month but you also get access to hundreds of other courses ranging from photoshop and Joomla courses to HTML and CSS courses. All of course are of the highest quality.
